Why NOBODY needs a glutathione supplement…

Glutathione is an important antioxidant that is made primarily by the body, but is also found in dietary sources. Unfortunately, your levels can become depleted due to many factors, such as aging, a poor diet, poor sleep and a sedentary lifestyle.

Over recent years, glutathione in supplement form has grown in popularity and this is a very disturbing trend. Why? Because there is ample evidence to suggest that regularly supplementing with glutathione reduces your body’s ability to produce it indigenously.

What I would strongly recommend as a much safer and far more effective way of building up your glutathione levels naturally is to ensure that you’re taking in all the nutrients that contribute to the production of glutathione.

They are…

VITAMIN C: This vitamin maintains the body’s supply of antioxidants including glutathione. Vitamin C attacks free radicals as soon as it enters the body, thereby sparing glutathione. In fact, researchers have found that taking non GMO vitamin C in supplement form increased glutathione levels in white blood cells!

MSM (organic sulphur): A number of human and animal studies have found that supplementing with MSM reduces oxidative stress (the world’s biggest killer), by increasing glutathione levels.

Selenium: Selenium is a glutathione cofactor, meaning it’s a substance needed for glutathione activity. By increasing your selenium intake, you help maintain or increase your body’s supply of glutathione.

Eat foods naturally rich in glutathione: red meat, poultry, fish, eggs, legumes and nuts.

Milk Thistle: This amazing herb is comprised of three active compounds, collectively known as silymarin. Silymarin has been shown to increase glutathione levels AND prevent depletion.

And last but not least, sleep : Quality sleep is important for so many reasons, one of which is that quality sleep helps to maintain and boost glutathione levels.

So there you have it. Please do not waste your money and potentially damage yourselves by supplementing with glutathione. You would be surprised at how many owners of supplement companies couldn’t care less about natural health.
